Came here for lunch with one of my best friends. Got here at 11:30am on Friday and was seated right away. They were playing all the jams which got me in the ayce mood. We both got the premium AYCE for 28.99. It comes with appetizers, nigiri, and rolls. Service was fast and food was great! Yellowtail and snowy salmon were highlights. Really liked the seaweed salad and miso soup. Great value and quick service so highly recommend!

I rather like it here! There is more than one tier for AYCE sushi, but go with the option that lets you order all the appetizers. I think it was $33/pp. I may have enjoyed the appetizers as much as (if not more than) the sushi. The mango salmon roll here is a unique offering and also happens to be bomb. The mango purée is refreshing and surprisingly compliments the roll really well. The corn cheese, Tiger shrimp, edamame are all yummy. I especially liked the takoyaki and sesame balls. I would pass on the jalapeño poppers next time. The nigiri here is decent. If I go the next time, I would probably order only one of the rolls (the mango salmon roll!) since they come only in the full size. I would save more room for nigiri. Would definitely visit here again. I left very full and it's better bang for your buck than Kura.

Came here with a party of 6 and they were able to accommodate us easily. The place is not too packed which is great. The service was pretty quick. They accommodated one person on a la carte at our table, which is nice. Giving this place a 5 stars for an AYCE spot. Sushi quality was decent, better than little sakana imo. It's also cheaper! They also have eel on the ayce menu not limited. They have many options for sides, like corn cheese! They have the BEST sesame balls I've ever had so far, our 3rd and 4th rounds were just a bunch of sesame balls lol. They were freshly made!

Pretty good AyCE sushi! We had the weekday lunch rate at $28.99 per person. It contained a good variety of appetizers, salads, nigiris, hand rolls and special rolls. The quality of fish is not bad for the price. Portions are fair and they aren't stingy with their ingredients either. The appetizers are better than we thought. We had the seaweed salad which surprisingly wasn't way too sweet like the ones we had elsewhere. Tiger shrimp was a must try like other yelpers have mentioned. And the fried wings were so juicy and crispy, I would say better some Korean fried chicken places here in SD!! The nigiri had a big piece of rice so beware and don't order too many in your first round and end up with too much food. The first round is more generous than the 2nd. We ordered a second spider roll in the 2nd round and it didn't contain much soft shell crab, I'm not complaining just wanted to let everyone know. Service was great! Food came promptly and the servers were really nice and polite. So glad that we found another place for Ayce sushi. It's really expensive to eat out with two growing teens. They love sushi so much and each time we go out for sushi, it cost like $200 and yet my hub and I walk out hungry.
